A visual inspection isn’t enough
You might be aware of the literature, or indeed the history of asbestos as a material used in construction. For example in the production of textured coatings or as constituent material in the building of floor tiles and insulation material. You might also be aware that any property built before 2000 may have been constructed with asbestos-containing materials (ACMs). But the only way to truly detect if your property has ACMs is to contract a professional service to survey the property and take samples for testing. That’s where Tasc2 can assist.
We can test your property and find out
Tasc2 provide a complete survey and sampling service. The samples are then analysed by a UKAS Accredited Lab who then provide a report. If asbestos is present, further information will be provided about the condition, type and location of the asbestos. We’ll also incorporate our guidance as to what needs to be done about the asbestos and what that service will look like. If the survey and sampling of your property was a precursor to its refurbishment or demolition, the asbestos will need to be addressed to mitigate exposure. The report is produced within 3 working days but we can expedite the process and provide a turnaround with 24 hours if the situation is urgent.
